Syngas
Also known as synthesis gas, synthetic gas or producer gas. Produced from a variety of different materials that typically start as a blend of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane and nitrogen. These can include biomass (wood gas), wood, waste wood, cellulose lignin, plastics, coal, municipal waste or similar materials. These components can then be separated to make ammonia, methanol, other industrial chemicals and fuels.
